Well it's official. No more virtual desktops at all for me. It was a nice novelty for the last week or so but probably more difficult to use than necessary. What's so hard about dragging windows and mouse edge transitions, exactly? There has to be a reason no one's done it right yet.

I use Dsktop Manager, essentially VirtueDesktop lite, and have had few issues. It does not change desktop when I click on an application, but otherwise it has been fairly bug free.

There are definitely some inconsistencies of this program I don't like, but if you nurse its behavior a bit you can get it to do what you want to do. A lot of hiding and showing applications in new spaces goes on. It's the pesky small windows that often get lost, say font dialogs in Keynote, etc.

I find Virtue to be much better than CodeTek's Virtual Desktops software, which I think took a very simple concept and overcomplicated it.

I also think Virtue just might be better than the upcoming Spaces, but that remains to be seen.

Either way, what I want is an exact copy of Linux style dragging between windows, plus focus follows mouse (ps. another great article to be written about why people like focus follows mouse)

Your site is great - and your responsiveness is greatly appreciated.

All this app this was wet my appetite for Leopard. The application binding doesn't work properly which makes you kinda hunt for the right screen sometimes.

Although, I thought this program was awesome, it did not function very well. Applications would open on one window and then I would switch screens and they would move to the new screen, even after setting up the program's preferred window.

For me the program was a novelty program for a week or two, then it just became frustrating. Can't wait for 10.5!!
