I use iSkysoft DVD Ripper for Mac to help me convert DVD to iTunes friendly format for my iPod Nano chromatic. It works great!

You can also use HandBrake (freeware) to help you rip DVD to iPod/iPhone format. HandBrake can be run on both Windows and Mac, so you can it to rip DVD to iPod/iPhone video on windows OS or rip DVD to iPod/iPhone video on Mac OS X. Below is the detailed tutorial:

HandBrake updated. It can convert videos.
But I think VisualHub is better on converting videos on mac.

Squint and VisualHub, the popular video converter on Mac OS X have now gone open source. They also has got new names, Film Redux (VisualHub) and PunyVid (iSquint). As you may or may not know, the developer, Techspanion has closed shop and after an outcry from fans, it has released the source code.

I’ve been using Instant Handbrake for about a month with no problems, until recently. Sometimes the main title (with the actual movie on it) doesn’t appear as a choice. Any ideas?
