SantaSnaps – Christmas Fun Photo Booth Clone

Christmas is here, and what better way to get in the spirit than to make you and your loved ones into Santa! SantaSnaps is a lot like Photo Booth except instead of distortions and color changes, you get elf hats, beards, ears, reindeer horns, glasses, and a few other holiday accessories. There’s also a strange looking nutcracker if you feel the need to transform into one. Certainly not groundbreaking software but it is fun and appropriate for the time of year. Enjoy the holidays and Merry Christmas!

Now that Christmas is over, you can do a little hacking and replace some of the overlays with some of your own. Just right click on the application and show package contents. Look for the resources folder inside the contents folder. You can replace the png files with your own – just use the same name (save the old one first as original if you want to use it next year). 640×480 rgb png with transparent backgrounds seem to work just fine. With a little more hacking, you can get the buttons to match most likely, but I haven’t taken that far yet
