Automator Tutorial – Learning the Basics

Automator is a powerful automation tool that comes with Mac OS X, unfortunately it’s also another one of those applications that I basically never use. There are many tasks that I could automate, but I’ve just never gotten around to setting up automation. Well, if you’re like me, or if you’re new to Automator, this tutorial on MacApper might be beneficial to you.   2. Wow! This came at the right time. Earlier this morning I was dumping applications that I never even touched since purchasing my 17″ MacBook Pro this past October; however, I hung onto Automater since I know I could really use it. In fact, this morning I told myself I would learn how to use it. I’ll be reading this when I’m on vacation this coming week.

    First you post a link to some crappy article about Address Book (again, who cares?), now you follow it up with a link to a crappy Automator tutorial! Well at least this one is better than Address Book, and more useful… but honestly nobody uses Automator either!

    Get back to the useful tips please, I don’t care about these two craps
