Convert YouTube video to iPod and Apple TV format

TubeTV is a great little app that allows you to easily convert YouTube videos and Google videos to either iPod or Apple TV compatible formats. All you do is direct an URL to the app and it’ll download in either iPod or AppleTV compatible formats. TubeTV requires the Perian QuickTime plugin, but don’t worry it’ll tell you if you don’t have it installed and link to it for you. Other than the extreme ease of use, TubeTV is great because it’s totally free! Check below for a screenshot of TubeTV in action.

considering Apple’s announcement about the Apple TV and YouTube video with H264 format, this is completely useful for the Apple TV at least
good for the ipod still

I used this program and downloaded/converted the videos that I wanted.. then I put them into itunes but when I went to sync my ipod, it said it couldn’t play this video format. I don’t know what the problem is.
