I also get two duplicate stickies with the key combination. Anyone else? Any suggestions?

Thanks, this is a great tip. I find myself using this to make snippets in Firefox all the time.

Just one problem though, that key combination always gives me two duplicate stickies. Any ideas?

Doesn’t work for me either – seems to depend on the application.

Chromium, Thunderbird – No.
NetNewsWire – Yes
Adium – No

So, spotty at best.

this def works in 10.5 and 10.6 i use it all the time for creating a multi tiered clipboard while researching. if you are having trouble, try alternate commands for your keyboard layout, like command+option
