Motherboard Manufacturers add iPad charging Support
The iPad charging requirements are confusing at first glance. What it boils down to is that the iPad requires 10watts of power to charge (while in use) and most USB ports can’t provide enough power. It seems that the computing industry as a whole has acknowledged the potential market domination of the iPad and have released software updates to address the charging issue. So far ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI have jumped on board the charging train. Good signs for you iPad users out there.
