I say that because these rumors could seriously hurt the new Droid 2 and Droid X phones which will appear soon from Motorola on the Verizon network. It's in Verizon's interest to get people to not sign onto new contracts with AT&T so naturally they're going to leak news like this, that way they can stifle the sales and scoop them up come release on their network in January. This of course assumes it is even going to happen, we've been hearing this rumor for 2 years now, as soon as the iPhone was released reports said it would be on Sprint or Verizon or T-Mobile. People complain about AT&T network but I haven't had any worse problems with AT&T than I have on other networks. I imagine these network issues are very dependent on location and overload, big cities seem to have it worse off than smaller cities. Here in Boise I have no complaints, though when I have visited Seattle I did start experiencing dropped calls.
