I can't seem to see an 'Import settings' option anywhere in Preferences. Is this because I'm not an administrator, or is there some way to enable being able to see the option to enable being able to change things into AAC?

I got all the way to the end and I got a message saying that I-tunes won't accept it because it is too long. It was exactly 30 seconds. Should it be less?
