If you're going to upgrade, go all out now to future proof your Mac. I bought a 4 GB update for a Mini a while back and now am going for an 8 GB upgrade, in the end it costs twice as much to do these incremental upgrades. Plus I'm going to have 2 GB chips laying around that are useless and practically worthless. Buy the 8 GB if your Mac supports it. If you’re going to upgrade, go all out now to future proof your Mac.
