Press the Shift key(in Windows) or the option key(in Mac OS X), click on the Restore button.

Now browse to the iOS 4.2.1 IPSW file and select it.

That’s it! Your iPad will now be updated to iOS 4.2.1.

So 99% of the time when you’re watching the video on your tiny droid screen your wasting a TON of storage space just so that on occasion when you tether your phone to your television you can feel good knowing you’re watching 1080p video.
