hi guys and gals…
i jailbroke my ipod ios 4.2.1 touch and everything worked perfectly except for cydia! t
he loader app had cydia in it and i downloaded it, but it only downloaded up to 45% and then it said ”extracting”?
the icon appears on the screen, but everytime i open the icon, it opens to a white screen for less than half a second and then it closes
can somebody advise me on what else to do?

please please please help me. i downloaded green poison for windows, went through the whole thing and it said it jailbroke it but my ipod touch screen is black and has white words on it and wont turn off or anything. its still stuck. what do i do?

i tried jailbreaking using greeposi0n RC5 it worked fine until after i tried opening cydia and it just crashes whats going on please help me!!

When I open cydia it says initializing filesystem. But it crashes and brings me to the home screen. any help?

Wow, reading some of these comments, your license to operate computers should be taken away guys.
If yer a MAC OSX user, pick up a unix/linux/bsd 101 book and learn some basic stuff like how to change a directory and how to make a file executable. Your life will be a lot easier. Maybe learn VIM too.

I did everything fine, but suddenly mobile substrate crashed couple times, my iphone power it off and won’t boot again! Black Screen always, doesn’t matter if I press the sleep button or the home button or both together.

Damn, did I brick my iPhone? Any thoughts?

why are so many people having problems and why do they need to go to Terminal? Before I used Greenpois0n, I had the tethered Redsn0w 4.2.1 on my Iphone 4. All I did was download Greenpois0n, read directions to go in dfu mode and now im untethered. It was so simple.

try to put in “sudo” before chmod.. eg. “sudo chmod +x greenp0ison”
