		<description>These splitters usually work fine to sync and charge if the USB port powering the cable passes enough power. It&#039;s less about the cable and more about the powered USB port behind it. I recall reading the Sandybridge MacBook Pro&#039;s push a lot of power through USB, so I would expect those to work fine while an older MacBook might struggle and just charge both *very* slowly.</description>
