You can't backup an iPhone from iCloud if you fill it with important info. You can't back up an iPad Period. The storage allowed on iCloud should match the size of the device you purchased. You paid a premium for it, it should be worth at least that much. Space is cheap. So is Apple's attitude about it. Too Bad they don’t make a 5 GB iPhone or iPad.
