If FF is slower than a competitor for you, take into account that FF has to load your add-ons. Comparing FF with 10 add-ons VS IE or Chrome or Avant browser with 0 is completely unfair. FF without add-ons is just as fast as Chrome or Avant. But its attractive features are add-ons, so you cannot have your cake and eat it

Chrome is nice but still stick with firefox for many plugins he have and safari for regular usage

Got several memory issue with chrome with heavy memory usage ajax website while safari & firefox run good

I’ve given Safari, Firefox and Chrome all a fair shake. They all do some nice things but, so far, Google Chrome has my business. It runs much lighter on resources than Firefox but has most of the features (at least the ones I use).

Just updated–what do they mean 20% faster; it’s running much slower than 5.0.1. I would advise waiting on this “upgrade”.

Firefox is turning into a developer-only browser, I don’t know anyone who uses it anymore that isn’t involved in engineering or design.
