Ever heard of the world wide web, yeah any web server you go to more than likely uses Linux. Or the next time you are sitting at a traffic light, thank the Linux OS that controls those for keeping the streets safe. If it's good enough for NASA, it's good enough for me. Just because it ALSO includes a command-line interface - in addition to a GUI - doesn't keep it in the same ballpark or even league as an obsolete system like DOS! I don't extensively use any Apple operating system, so I would never presume to speak about them with any kind of implied authority... Backwards?
