What we saw was only the start menu. So this is a full blown pc operating system and also a tablet OS all in one. I can't wait to see if apple will run OS X Lion underneath iOS. I tried the developers preview and I must say I am very impressed - although it has got to be said that it's more suited towards tablet systems than PCs, I don't see how the latter would benefit more from Win8 versus Win7.
