I applied these updates and received the Apple no smoking sign (minus the cigarette) yesterday. After spending most of the day on the phone to Apple Tech Support (who are doing there best Dell impersonation these days) I had to rebuild from a blank hard drive. Ensure you have a very good backup before applying these patches. One word of warning, still rebuilding my computer after installing these updates. After going into sleep mode the screen stays black even when hitting keys on the keyboard. I can hear sounds when hitting the keys but the screen never comes on and the apple logo never lights up.
