iMac, MacBook Pro, iPad, and lots of iPhones

This reader submitted Mac setup features an iMac 21″, MacBook Pro 15″, white iPad 2, a handful of iPhones, the wireless keyboard, mouse, and Magic Trackpad, and a Time Capsule for backing it all up. Great Mac setup, thanks for sending this in Tom!

I’d just like to add I like to see other peoples setups. The last few months a lot more Mac setups have been posted and a some people are complaining about those posts to be useless. Please, keep on posting these setups. I really like them and in my opinion they’re a great addition to OSXDaily.

  2. I love this because it’s exactly what I am trying to convert to next! The only thing missing is the aTrackt keyboard and mouse holder (www.inertialdesign.com/).

I can’t wait to be in the cloud and connect everything once and for all. As virtual as I am as an internet marketing consultant, nothing beats this totally connected/synced setup.

  3. Nice collection of toys :) and I DO like these posts, but… the idea might not be “just” to show them off, but actually how it all works?

I have a ton of Apple-devices myself, and those who read danish an read all about those setups on my blog.

The idea around MY setup, is that it is NOT to be SEEN – it’s all in how it works… streaming content all over the house, throu’ the rooms and so on… seamlessly – THAT’S the idea.

Everyone can go and buy a few Mac’s, but it’s the setup, ease of use and how it all works that counts.

But still – like the posts to see what other people bought :)

    Nice setup!

Love the setup and love seeing other people’s setups. It looks beautiful and you should be proud to show it off. It is just like having a new car, house, etc. You want other people to see it and admire it. You want people to say, “Wow, that’s really cool. Good job.” Nothing wrong with that. That is just being human. I bet some of the people here, who say they don’t want to see other people setups, are just jealous that their’s is not a nice and would love to have a setup just as nice. My setup is not a nice as this one but I am still proud of mine. This setup, in the picture, took time, money and effort. Good job! Keep up the good work.

I have number of Macs on my desk – along with iPads, iPods, cameras, external HDDs, cables PostIt notes etc, etc. If my desk was as tidy as this I couldn’t work. These clean desks look more like a fashion statement!

Thanks so much for posting our setup. That’s a 27″ iMac that I thought might be too big at first, but turned out great. We love it!!

    Tough crowd ;-P lol
I really enjoy seeing different setups. Love this site for all the great tips and info too! Alot of variety keeps me coming back a few times a day.

I’ve been in the IT biz for a couple of decades and have just recently turned our home into an Apple home. Like the man said “It Just Works”
So….hopefully I can be forgiven for my new found exuberance ;)

Most posts on this site are pretty good, except these. I am not really (and I expect many other users aren’t either) interested in seeing how many app devices someone owns. Or how they can arrange them on their desk.

  10. Joseph says:

Why not get an external drive and save a few hundred on the time capsule?

  11. Tim says:

    Yeah, who cares?

  12. Peter says:

Can we filter these things out of the RSS feed? I don’t think many people are interested in people showing off how many devices they own. I certainly am not.

Why so many iPhones? The desk matches the screens.
