Hey Paul,
I am currently running OSX Mountain Lion on my mid-2010 series Macbook Pro and I am definitely enjoying it! I used OSX Lion before and that was a wonderful upgrade from Snow Leopard. The overall UI of OSX hasn't changed much from Lion to Mountain Lion but mainly more features were added to bring it closer to the UI of iOS, therefore making the iPad, iPhone, and iPod, work even better with your Mac. I would say the most outstanding feature is iMessage, very smooth. Hope this helps:)

Beta Mountain lion is better than lion? I may upgrade then. I have a 2010 17" MBP and I have read many complaints about not working well with the 2010 line. I am still snow leopard. Any one try this on a 2010 line?
