Mac Setups: Mac Music Studio & Development Workstation

This weeks Mac setup is brimming with hardware for both work and play. Coming to us from Terkel G, this awesome workstation features a couple of decked out Macs, iOS gear, and lots of other hardware for programming and making music. Hardware shown includes:
- iMac 27″ top line 2011 model
- Apple Cinema Display
- MacBook Pro 17″ fully upgraded
- iPad 3
- iPhone 4S
- Dell XPS 22″ Monitor
- Akai MPK MIDI Keyboard
- Akai MPC5000 Drum Machine
- Senheizer Mic
- TC Electronick Sound Card
I don’t know a thing about music but this setup looks pretty great. The floating speakers above the desk is a nice touch too.
For anyone else who was wondering about the vi/vim cheat sheet wallpaper, we’ll post a link if we get our hands on it.
Want your Mac setup featured on OSXDaily? Send in a good picture or two with a list of hardware and a brief description of what you use your Apple gear for to osxdailycom@gmail.com

Love these combination setups, without work there is no play and without play there is no work.
oh yes, please send the link for the vi cheat sheet wallpaper

thanks a lot in advance
The wallpaper looks like this one but laid over the default Lion galaxy image

A quick photoshop job should do the trick
Which speakers are this ones?
Yamaha HS-80
Nice! Especially those cables on the bottom part
Guys seriously, this wallpaper is pure awesomeness, anybody with photoshop skills, please share it!
Looks pretty. Monitor speakers have to be at ear level otherwise you might as well have 10 dollar logitechs. Typical of people who like form over function.
The speakers are Yamaha HS-80 and are placed the wrong way (too high, too close together) as Meowington mentioned already. Also, placing the whole setup in the room corner is far from ideal for mixing tasks. Just sayin’
There are also two typos: it’s Sennheiser and TC Electronic (without the “k”).
It is absolutely absurd to place loud-speakers in this way…
The propagation of the highest frequencies is very linear (and straight), I wonder how it is possible to produce a good EQ (and a good mix) in this situation…
I absolutely love this setup. That a set up I would want a my own place
vi/vim cheat sheet screen background??? How about “Learning the vi Editor” (copyright 1986) from O’Reilly and Associates?!?
What music software is being used? Logic Studio? Pro Tools? Other?
i saw windows, not all mac setup! fail!
Good setup, but it is a problem with the speakers (monitors in music hardware language): they are in a too much high location. Monitors have to be just in front of your ears, forming a triangle with your head.
