Hi, some answers here:
1. iMac mid-2011 2011 has 2 Thunderbolts, hence 2 displays.
2. It's kinda stupid that Griffin Powermate is popular only for music and video. It's awesome for every app because you can map every keyboard shortcut to a a unique gesture. E.g. short pressing in Finder would create new folder, right turn in Finder would send a file through e-mail, left turn in Mail would reply to all etc.
3. Desktops are for documents and lengthy projects. E.g. on desktop 4 you have 6 documents to work on for a week or so, that you have to see at one time. On desktop 5 you have 4 documents on another project that again can remain here for, say, a month. That's the idea.

No it has not. I know it because I have it. Last iMac without Thunderbolt. So probably the answer was EVGA 100-U2-UV19-TR. Correct me if I'm wrong.
