iPhone 5 event video now online

Apple has posted the keynote video to the iPhone 5 launch event. If you’re a fan of Apple’s event videos it’s well worth watching, you’ll see the usual cast of Apple all-stars unveiling the iPhone 5, new iPod touch, iPod nano, review iOS 6 and some great new apps and features, a discussion of iTunes 11, and even get a bit of a State-of-the-Apple-Union type overview from CEO Tim Cook.

If you’re having trouble viewing the video in your browser, try loading it with Safari rather than Chrome or Firefox, or you can download the keynote video as a video podcast from iTunes.

Don’t want to spend an hour watching the keynote video? Here’s a quick overview of everything launched today.

I was hoping the iphone5 to be alot different than the iphone4, since iphone4s is exactly the same.

It is. I think you’re assuming that because the design is generally the same except for a larger screen, it’s the same thing? No, not really…
The iPad 3 has a new A5X chip and 1GB RAM, and Apple added those to the iPhone 5, along with a better camera, etc.

@iphone5 – It’s amazing how idiotic your comment is. The iPhone 5 is nearly completely redesigned, and really is a marvel in modern engineering. Just knowing how they measure parts in microns, and select pieces based on individual parts is amazing. Using new custom chips, better battery life with LTE included, etc. hardly make it similar.

I almost feel like saying “it’s the same as before,” “SGIII is better,” “I’m buying the Nokia now,” “I NEED the old connector,” etc. are things all the cool kids are saying today on the internet…
