txpos I was thinking the same thing. If those were CRTs, could be fun visual effects. Seriously I'd feel nervous with magnetic fields near the magnetic iMac hard drive. Even the SSD in the Air, I'd be superstitious.

Everything that everyone else said plus:

Anyone think about the fact that there's some big magnets in those speakers and I can almost guarantee that they're not shielded. Strong magnets + magnetic rotational hard drives = bad things. Professionals know these things. Do yourself a favor Ronny: loose the speakers, your data will thank you.

Hey, there is this cool thing called a volume control- big doesn't necessarily mean loud... those speakers may just be convenient monitor stands... then again...

Ha! He'll never be my professional photographer. It's clear that if that external drive is only 1TB than it's not his backup drive. Where is the backup drive? Ridiculous! Someone's gonna lose all their work and a client is gonna be pissed!

Sorry, gotta call it like I see it. Kind of a moron! All hard drives fail. It's a guarantee! Oh, and with the vibration emanating from those closely spaced speakers hard drive failure is sooner than later!

Kind of a goofy setup. Looks more like the equipment is usually in a different location, but set up this way just for the photo.

Can't even imagine sitting right between two giant speakers while working on the Mac. To each their or own, of course, but might be a bit LOUD for my taste. :)

A professional photographer... but no camera!? That's the most important part of the setup! Nikon? Canon? What's the body? What lenses? I'm no pro but certainly a photog enthusiast and would like to know these things! :)

Interesting, although I would have appreciated to get more info on the quality of the screens (brands are too generic).
All professional photographers (I am) know that the quality of the screen (mat and not glossy) is of the upmost importance.
This is the reason why we often choose Eizo or Nec.
