iOS 10 on iPhone

Apple has released the third beta version of iOS 10.1 to users participating in the beta testing programs.

iOS 10.1 beta 3 is available to download now through the Software Update mechanism within Settings app.

Users in the developer beta program can get the download now, whereas users in the public beta program typically have to wait a little bit longer to find the same beta version available to them.

iOS 10.1 includes the ability to use Portrait camera mode on iPhone 7 Plus, an alternative camera feature for taking portraits with a blurred bokeh background effect, which Apple prominently demonstrated during the iPhone 7 debut event. Aside from the inclusion of portrait camera mode, iOS 10.1 looks to be mostly a bug fix release aimed at improving the stability of the iOS 10 release, with a few other minor enhancements and feature refinements.

There is no known timeline for a final release of iOS 10.1, but typically Apple goes through several beta versions before finalizing a release.

Additionally, a third beta of tvOS 10.0.1 for Apple TV is available for developers.

    To All,
I just did a manual backup and started (from my desktop!) downloading the iPhone 10.1 software.
Please know that it is a 2.45 GIGABYTE download!
