Beta 2 of iOS 11.2 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 beta

Apple has released iOS 11.2 beta 2 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users enrolled in the beta testing program, along with macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 beta 2 for Mac users participating in the beta programs.

The initial beta builds are for those in the developer testing programs, but public beta versions typically follow soon after.

Additionally, watchOS 4.2 beta 2 has been released for those who like to run beta software on Apple Watch, and tvOS 11.2 beta 2 for Apple TV beta testers.

Those enrolled in the beta testing programs can download the latest versions from the software update mechanisms on their respective devices. In iOS, that is achieved through the Settings app, in macOS via the Mac App Store, Apple Watch via the paired iPhone Watch app, and for tvOS through the Apple TV Settings app.

The new iOS 11.2 beta release presumably focuses on bug fixes and feature enhancements, but it also includes multiple new wallpapers.

macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 beta also likely focuses mostly on bug fixes and minor enhancements.

The most recently available stable builds of system software are currently macOS High Sierra 10.13.1, iOS 11.1, tvOS 11.1, and watchOS 4.1.

Worth noting is the fact that now we know iOS 11.2 will finally include the apple pay cash feature when it launches. Apple just enabled that feature remotely today november 7th for all users running either the developer or the public version of the second iOS 11.2 beta preview.

Forgot to mention that watchOS 4.2 will also include apple pay cash when it launches, and users of the second beta of that watchOS software also got the feature today.

beta 2 downloaded but won’t verify. says no internet connection which is false. iTunes doesn’t see the beta at all. rebooted iPhone 6S still won’t verify.

I had this happen – not sure if it’s the same as your problem. Mine updated after I went to the beta.apple.com site and redownloaded the beta profile.
