iOS 12.1 beta 3

If you do not see iOS 12.1 beta 3 available then you’re likely not enrolled in the iOS beta testing program. If you were running a prior iOS 12 beta release but updated to the final version and then left the iOS 12 beta testing program then you would need to enroll the device back in the beta testing program by installing the beta profile again.

The watchOS 5.1 beta 3 update and tvOS 12.1 beta 3 update are available through those devices respective Settings apps as well, assuming those devices are also enrolled in beta testing programs.

Beta testing system software is intended for advanced users, developers, and those who want to test beta versions of upcoming operating system releases for other reasons. The vast majority of casual users should not run beta system software, which is notoriously less stable and more prone to bugs when compared to final stable builds of system software.

The most recent final stable build of iOS available is currently iOS 12.0.1 which was just released as a software update with multiple bug fixes for iPhone and iPad devices which are running iOS 12.
