Apple has released the third beta version of iOS 12.4 to users enrolled in the iOS software beta testing program.

No major new features or changes are expected in iOS 12.4, suggesting the beta is likely focusing on bug fixes and minor enhancements to the iPhone and iPad operating system.

Eligible iPhone and iPad devices can download the latest iOS 12.4 beta 3 build now from the Software Update mechanism in iOS Settings.

Separately, Apple also released watchOS 5.3 beta 2, and tvOS 12.4 beta 2. Those beta updates can be downloaded to enrolled devices through their respective settings apps.

MacOS Mojave 10.15.6 beta 2 has yet to be released but will presumably follow shortly with another beta release.

Apple usually goes through a variety of beta versions before issuing a final stable build to the general public.

The most recently available stable builds of system software for Apple products are currently iOS 12.3.1 for iPhone and iPad, MacOS Mojave 10.14.5 for Mac, watchOS 5.2.1 for Apple Watch, and tvOS 12.3 for Apple TV.

Apple is expected to unveil iOS 13 and MacOS 10.15 to the general public at the annual WWDC 2019 conference in California, which starts next week.
