iOS 13 Beta and iPadOS Beta

Apple has seeded the fourth beta version of iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 to those iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users who are enrolled in the beta system software testing programs.

Usually a developer beta version becomes available first and is soon followed by a public beta release of the same build.

Users that are enrolled in the beta software testing programs for iOS and iPadOS can find the latest beta build available to download now through the Settings app > Software Update section.

Betas of iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 likely focus on bug fixes, along with other minor changes to the operating systems.

Betas of iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 also introduce communication limits to screen time, allowing the restriction of communication through apps like Phone, Messages, and FaceTime to specific contacts.

Other small changes and new features are also being tested in iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3, including the ability to hide Memoji from the Emoji keyboard, and support for hardware authentication keys.

Due to the nature of beta system software, any of the features being tested may be changed or even removed before the final version, thus it’s best to view any changes in beta versions of software as possible features rather than certain features.

Apple typically releases a series of several beta builds before unveiling a final release to the general public. This could indicate that final versions of iOS 13.3 and iPadOS 13.3 may arrive later in the year, or perhaps the beginning of next year.

Separately, Apple has also released new updated beta builds for watchOS 6.1.1, and tvOS 13.3. There is not yet a new beta of MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 available, as of this writing.
