iPhone 4 Commercial

Jun 29, 2010 - 5 Comments

The first iPhone 4 commercial has started to air and it’s all about FaceTime, the new video chat feature of iPhone 4. Here’s what Apple has to say about it on their YouTube page:

People have been dreaming about video calling for decades. iPhone 4 makes it a reality. With the tap of a button, you can wave hello to your kids, share a smile from across the globe, or watch your best friend laugh at your stories — iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 over Wi-Fi. No other phone makes staying in touch this much fun.

This is definitely a great commercial, don’t miss the video!

Agree with IQ Nill, I have had the possibility to make video calls since 2003. My first phone was a LG (http://www.3g.co.uk/PR/April2003/5182.htm) with dual cameras.

But I have to admit that apple sure can make commercials and are very convincing that they are sooo innovative :)

Hmmm… as much as I enjoy using Apple products, some of their statements are just pure misinformation and propaganda. My Sony Ericsson phone 5 years ago had video calling with a swivel camera which could be pointed in any direction. So no, people have not been dreaming of video calling, they actually had it and it never took off.
Oh, Apple, sometimes you make me cringe…
