Amazing jupiter image as a wallpaper

Everyone loves great wallpaper for their desktops, backgrounds, and home screens, and NASA’s Juno spacecraft has delivered a beautiful image of Jupiter which fits the bill. Whether you want t spruce up your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, or Windows PC desktop, this picture should look fantastic as your new wallpaper image.

The image from JunoCam imager on the NASA Juno spacecraft, which is orbiting Jupiter, is a whopping 7800 × 3484 resolution PNG file, meaning it’ll look fantastic on any high resolution display. It’s also quite large to download however, so be a bit patient if you’re going to save the picture and use it as your desktop (or consider resizing the picture to fit your screen and converting it to a JPEG if you want to shrink down the file size for local use)

Choose the link below or click the thumbnail of the image below to launch the Jupiter image into a new window on your browser:

In case you are unfamiliar, here is how to set it as the wallpaper background on an iPhone or iPad and how to set the desktop background picture on a Mac. On the Mac, it looks best with the desktop background setting on “Fill Screen”.

You can read more on Nasa.gov or check out the neat Junocam processing images here.

Oh and if you’re a big fan of Jupiter pictures (who isn’t?) you might like this cool Jupiter From Below wallpaper too. And if you’re not into this image and don’t like Jupiter pictures, then our wallpaper posts are sure to have something that will interest you.

“Everyone loves great wallpaper for their desktops” Yes, that’s true. But since it is so incredibly easy to use your own images – pix, graphics etc. – I wonder why anyone would use the pre-packaged items provided by Apple.
