How to Enter Recovery Mode on iPhone SE

  1. First, press and release the Volume Up button on your iPhone. Immediately after, press and release the Volume Down button. Now, press and hold the side/power button. Your device will reboot with the Apple logo on the screen.

  2. Continue holding the power button even after you see the Apple logo and after a few seconds, your iPhone will indicate you to connect the device to a computer, as shown below.

  3. Now, simply connect your iPhone to the computer using the Lightning to USB cable and open iTunes. You’ll receive a pop-up in iTunes indicating that there’s a problem with the iPhone and you’ll have the option to either restore or update it.

Exiting Recovery Mode on iPhone SE 2020

In order to manually exit recovery mode, disconnect your iPhone from the computer and just keep holding the power or side button until the “Connect to computer” indicator goes away.

It’s really that simple to exit if you accidentally entered the recovery mode, or if you don’t want to update or restore your device.

Exiting Recovery Mode will return the iPhone to whatever the prior state was before it was placed into recovery mode in the first place.

    My apple logo was frozen I had to go to the apple store to reset my phone. To factory reset my phone I have to do the carbonation up volume down volume and power button. That’s how I got stuck. I pray that I get a apple phone friend and talk about the phone stay with me.with the task. It can’t read my pass word it sees my email but it’s in error. To many prompts. I read that having your Apple ID it will remember you more there when I’m logged in.
