Safari 14.1 Released for MacOS Mojave & Catalina with Security Fix

Apple has released Safari 14.1 for MacOS Catalina and macOS Mojave. It is recommended for all users of Catalina and Mojave to install the update.

The Safari 14.1 release features important security updates for WebKit and the Safari web browser in macOS Mojave (10.14.6) and macOS Catalina (10.15.7), containing the same patches that were included in macOS Big Sur 11.3.1.

Mac users running macOS Catalina or macOS Mojave can find Safari 14.1 available to download now from the Software Update preference panel, accessible via  Apple menu > System Preferences.

The same WebKit security issue addressed by Safari 14.1 was also patched on other Apple devices with iOS 14.5.1, iPadOS 14.5.1, iOS 12.5.3, watchOS 7.4.1, and macOS Big Sur 11.3.1.
