iOS 15.0.1 Released with Bug Fixes for Apple Watch Issue
Apple has released iOS 15.0.1 and iPadOS 15.0.1 as the first bug fix update to address some of the issues with iOS/iPadOS 15.
Specifically, iOS 15.0.1 update resolves an issue where Apple Watch may not unlock with new iPhone 13 models, where Settings erroneously shows a storage full error, and an issue with Fitness+ workouts. No other bug fixes are specified, but it’s possible other smaller ones are included.

How to Download & Install iOS 15.0.1 on iPhone or iPad
Always backup your iPhone or iPad before installing any system software update.

Do not see the link to download IPSW for iPhone 13 ? Only iPhone 13 Pro is given (unlike other series that have for all the models) ?
Yikes, do not update to this update! I saw this post and told my iPhone to update via my Mac… and am still fighting with both an hour after I started.
My Mac’s fans whirred in a manner they almost never do, the update status stayed stuck in “11 minutes remaining” for over 20 minutes, and my iPhone screen kept showing “support.apple.com/iphone/restore.” Other running apps even seemed affected, and my USB wired keyboard stopped functioning (I don’t know why; I’m just saying what happened).
I force quit Finder (Force Quit window said it was not responding), and now my iPhone is stuck in this loop of offering to either Update or Restore, but Restore then goes to “Restore and Update” a few Finder messages later.
I have never seen anything like it, but this update did something to leave me with no iPhone and no way of restoring it.
That’s frustrating, it sounds like you’ll have to put your iPhone into Recovery Mode and then restore, which model iPhone is it? Put it into Recovery Mode and then connect it to the Mac to restore, it will be a process but it should recover the iPhone.
If your iPhone is under warranty Apple will walk you through the process on the phone if you call their official support.
Updates can take a long time to install and process, so even if something is stuck on ‘xx minutes remaining’ it’s best to let it sit and wait (even for hours) to try and complete installation, since interrupting it usually tanks the iPhone.
Thank you for the advice, but my iPhone (6S Plus, yes, I know, old, but supposedly included in the update) could not go into Recovery Mode, because it could not **do anything at all** other than give me the screen I described.
Someone fixed it for me last using some developer option, but the issue is happening again now with the latest iOS update and a different device! I used to adore Apple, but between their waning concern for user privacy and their similarly waning quality control for releases, I guess I need to look into other options.
No reference to the considerable bugginess of the Shortcuts App under iOS 15 😡
