WWDC 2022

Apple has announced that their annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) for 2022 will be a virtual event, held online from June 6 to June 10.

WWDC is typically when Apple unveils new upcoming versions of system software, and this year we will likely see a look at iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, tvOS 16, and watchOS 9. Beta versions of the new versions of system software are also typically made available to developers, and to public beta testers several weeks later.

Occasionally, Apple also debuts new hardware at WWDC events, so between the glimpse at new system software and potential for new hardware, many non-developer Apple enthusiasts also pay close attention to the WWDC keynote event.

Those interested in signing up for attending the virtual event can check out https://developer.apple.com/wwdc22/ to learn more.

The WWDC 2022 keynote will be held on June 6 and will be streamed on the Apple website, and usually on YouTube as well as the Apple TV app.
