Notify – a better Gmail Notifier for your Mac Menubar

Sep 5, 2009 - 5 Comments

gmail menu notify My one and only email client is the web based Gmail, and for years I’ve been using Google’s Notifier menubar add-on to check for incoming messages, but that has changed. Notify is very similar to Google Notifier, only better – it allows for multiple accounts with tabbed separation, growl notification, and a very sleek modern GUI that fits right into Mac OS X beautifully. If you’re a Gmail Mac user, don’t miss this one!

BTW, Notify is free

    Hi there,

Notify is great app, much better and nicer than Gmail Notifier.. but its not working with any other than Gmail POP mails and i am looking for that kind of notifier. Do u know any?

    Really appreciate any answer.

Not sure what’s up with the first two comments here, but Notify certainly does support Google Apps (I’m using it just fine with my own domain on Google Apps). As far as crashing…I’ve never had it crash or seen a bug with it yet. Perhaps comment number two was using a previous 1.x version (try version 2.x).

sucks totally, have the newest version and it is buggy every second email check. do not recommend it!

  5. It’s good but doesn’t support google apps users.
    Is there any workaround?
