MacOS Catalina 10.15 Dev Beta 3 Released for Download
Apple has released the third developer beta version of MacOS Catalina 10.15 to users enrolled in the Mac developer beta testing program.
There is not yet a new beta build available for MacOS Catalina public beta testers, though typically the latest dev beta rolls out as a public beta build labeled as a version behind. For example, developer beta 3 is usually public beta 2.
Mac users who are currently running MacOS Catalina 10.15 developer beta can find the latest beta 3 update available now from the Software Update system preference panel, accessible from the Apple menu.
MacOS Catalina includes a variety of new features, including SideCar which allows an iPad to function as a secondary display for a Mac, enhancements to myriad stock apps including Photos, Reminders, and Notes, a powerful all new Voice Control Accessibility feature, and much more.
Additionally, Apple has released iOS 13 beta 3 to developers, iPadOS 13 beta 3 to developers, along with new developer beta updates to tvOS 13 and watchOS 6.
Non-developers who are interested in beta testing new Mac system software can install MacOS Catalina public beta, though doing so is not recommended for the vast majority of Mac users.
Apple has said that the final version of MacOS Catalina will be released this fall to the general public.
