WWDC 2026

Apple has announced their annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) for 2026 will begin on June 8, and extend through the 12th of that week.

The keynote is set for June 8, which will give developers and users a look at what’s coming next from the software side of Apple.

Historically, WWDC is where Apple introduces their upcoming operating systems, and it is likely that we will get a glimpse of iOS 27, ipadOS 27, MacOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and more. Developers are also likely to gain access to the beta versions of those operating systems during this time, as the developer beta and then public beta programs launch for users to update their apps and experiment with.

Current rumors suggest that iOS 27 and MacOS 27 will focus more on bug fixes and refining the operating systems for performance, rather than introducing tons of new features. Sometimes, Apple introduces new or updated hardware around WWDC as well, though there’s currently no speculation about that.

iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and to a greater extent, macOS Tahoe 26, have been met with significant criticism from users, with many complaints related to performance, new design decisions, and the Liquid Glass interface experience. It remains to be seen what if any changes will be made based on user complaints, but it’s a good bet that any such changes will be discovered the week of June 8.
