Apple has released the 7th beta versions of MacOS 10.12.4 and iOS 10.3 for users participating in the beta testing programs.

The latest beta builds are available now through the respective software update mechanisms, in iOS that is through the Settings app and in macOS via the App Store Updates section.

macOS 10.12.4 beta 7 continues to test the Night Shift feature, which is similar to color adjusting Night Shift feature available in iOS which changes the hue of display colors for the evening hours. Mac users can also achieve a similar effect with the third party Flux app.

iOS 10.3 beta 7 continues to test the Find My AirPods feature which can help users locate a missing wireless AirPod earbud.

As the system software beta version release schedule accelerates, one can assume the final public versions of system software will be available in the near future, possibly within the next week or two.

The $100 question is….. Did they fix the login? When I connect to a new WiFi, my Android phone immediately goes to the screen where I am asked to accept the terms. My iPhone always stalls. Sonetimes it takes power cycles to get the damn phone to take me to screen were I can accept the terms.

So Apple released another beta build. So what? This is the same information also posted on several other websites. And like those other websites, there is no new information posted here. Why bother?

Try your beset to control yourself Gorbnar, the minor point release update of subpar operating systems are coming soon!

I’d be excited if the quality of macOS and iOS were even half as good as they used to be, but wow are they buggy now! I dread every update because I know something is going to break or go wrong, and you can’t even ignore the updates anymore. Apple has lost their way, they are Microsoft all over again.

      • Howie Isaacks says:

Subpar? Buggy? I don’t know what you’re talking about. macOS Sierra and iOS 10 are rock solid for me, and for all of the customers that I support. If you are having problems, why don’t you try and have them fixed rather than assume that everyone has the same issues.

“macOS Sierra and iOS 10 are rock solid for me….” Yeah, while the device is turned off :-/ I have been Macin since system 7, and Apple has soooo become the new Microsoft :( I am a power user, have my own IT business, have servers in data centres, spend 55+ hrs a week on Mac, etc, and the bugs are unbelievable with many reproducible which means they can be found and fixed, but nope, its all about selling more iPhones. Where is one to turn? WIN10, Ubuntu, a black razor lappie? Bye Steve…
