Ebay, Macintosh style.
If you make a living on Ebay or if you are the casual bargain shopper, GarageSale deserves a look. At first glance GarageSale looks like any other Mac OS X application but after a few minutes of use you will begin to feel how powerful this little tool can be. Most every function available on Ebay’s website is available through GarageSale’s intuitive interface including a WYSIWYG editor for setting up professional and eloquent auctions. The advanced auction editor removes any need for knowledge of HTML and even integrates nicely into an iPhoto collection. Readers who still enjoy a dial-up connection to the internet will appreciate GarageSale’s ability to build auctions offline. GarageSale is an Ebay API certified client and operates within Ebay’s terms of use. GarageSale is available for a nominal shareware fee.
best part of this sw is the FREE image hosting that comes with a license. worst thing in my experience (hundreds of auctions with it) is the category browsers. The new eBay searching model is the best to date (unless I’m missing something??).
Anyway, I like this more than iSale but the option exists!
I use GarageSale for all my eBay auctions. I find it much nicer than Turbo Lister for the PC. It comes with listing themes that make my auctions stand out.
awesome! I hate the ebay interface, but I’ve got a couple of auctions coming up. It looks like this plugs into iPhoto – can it interface with Lightroom as well?
I used GarageSale in my last eBay auction. It produced a very slick very professional looking auction page. I was very quickly able to preview different page formats and styles using the product photos I took and imported into iPhoto.
