Amazon Hard Drive & SSD Deals [Black Friday]
Amazon is having a huge sale on hard drives right now, and it’s not just exclusive to Black Friday. Arguably the best part is free shipping and you don’t have to visit a crowded store.
If you’re aiming for maximum performance, an SSD can’t beat, or if you just need tons of space for storage and media, there are plenty of options for both desktops and laptops. Be sure to check that your Mac (or PC) can accommodate the interface and drive size beforehand.

How about 256gb SSD?
I bought my 256 SSD drive in July for $430 to replace a failing standard drive from NewEgg. I don’t know what prices look like right now but it was well worth the money. My SSD improved my MBP’s performance at least as much as bumping my memory to 8GB.
[…] Free shipping, and no lines? Works for me. Don’t miss Amazon’s internal hard drive and SSD deals too. […]
The prices for hard drives are way too high. Don’t buy one unless you need it. Retailers are price gouging due to the supply shortage caused by the floods in Thailand. If you can wait until March 2012, prices should come down.
There is some truth to that particularly with the desktop 3.5″ drives, although the SE Asian floods are not impacting SSD’s much and there are a lot of great deals.
