tvOS 10 Released for Apple TV

Apple has released tvOS 10 for Apple TV. The major software update for Apple TV includes a variety of new features including a dark mode, much improved Siri search capabilities, a redesigned Music app, a new feature rich Photos app with Memories and instant slide shows,

tvOS typically will update itself automatically unless the feature was disabled. If you want to manually update or update sooner than what automatic updates offers, you can do so through the Settings app in tvOS.

Updating to tvOS 10 on Apple TV

The easiest way to update to tvOS 10 is through the Apple TV itself.

• Open the Settings app on Apple TV and go to “System” and then to “Software Update”

You can also update to tvOS 10 through iTunes using a USB cable and computer if desired.

tvOS 10 is available for Apple TV 4th generation (or newer) and not for older Apple TV hardware.

Separately, Apple has also released iOS 10 update for iPhone and iPad and watchOS 3 update for Apple Watch.
