Public Beta 3 of iOS 26, MacOS Tahoe 26, iPadOS 26 Available, & New Build for Dev Betas
Apple has issued the 3rd public beta of iOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, and iPadOS 26. There’s also a new updated build – iOS 26 23A5318f up from 23A5318c – for developers (which was previously updated to OS 26 beta 6) to match the fresh public beta build. Any user participating in the public beta program can find the updates available now on their eligible devices.
The OS 26 suite features the new Liquid Glass interface appearance, along with new wallpapers and numerous other new features and changes for the various Apple operating systems. The public beta program gives advanced users an early look at the changes and features, while offering the opportunity to provide feedback to Apple regarding the features as well.

On your iOS/iPadOS device that is enrolled in the public beta program:
- Open the “Settings” app
- Go to “General” and then to “Software Update”
- Select to Download & Install for iOS 26 Public Beta 3 / iPadOS 26 Public Beta 3
How to Download MacOS Tahoe 26 Public Beta 3
For Mac users running the public beta, downloading beta 2 is simple:
- From the  Apple menu go to “System Settings”
- Select “General” and then go to “Software Update”
- Select to Update Now for MacOS Tahoe 26 Public Beta 3
You can also choose to explore explore MacOS Tahoe beta in a virtual machine with UTM, tart, Vmware, Parallels, or your VM manager of choice, by using IPSW firmware files (yes, the same ones that can also be used for restoring an Apple Silicon Mac).

The final versions of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, watchOS 26, and tvOS 26, will be released this fall, according to Apple.
