I don’t think the offer is available anymore. The 1TB drive is now 99 bucks.
To be honest, the drive only has 16MB cache, which doesn’t make it attractive for me at all drive-wise.
The design is remarkable tho, one of the best out there. Beautiful in it’s simplicity.
Apple and USB 3.0? Any thoughts/rumours?

There are rumors that Apple may be skipping USB 3.0 in lieu of using LightPeak, most of the rumors are based on a patent that was discovered last year:

Also, Intel won’t officially support USB 3 until this year, so if we do see it on the Mac it’ll likely be even later.
