Access & Use Apple Maps on the Web with Maps Beta
Apple Maps is now available on the web, just in case you’d like to use a web based interface for Apple Maps instead of the Maps app on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The introduction of a web interface for Apple Maps also means that Android users and Windows users can access Apple Maps now, if they so choose.
It’s worth noting that Apple Maps on the web is currently in beta, and has a beta URL that will surely change by the time it is finalized, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use it right away.
Apple Maps on the web has the standard Maps experience, and it even has Guides and Directions, and you can of course share directions and guides with other people easily.
Some of the Apple Maps guides are quite helpful and specific to cities and experiences, while others are curious and maybe not appropriate for young kids, at the very least they’re PG-13ish, unless you consider “Sexiest Hotels” to be family friendly. So like many other devices and content sources, you might want to keep an eye on kids using these features.
Remember, because Apple Maps on the web is in beta, many of these features, and perhaps guides, will likely change before it is finalized and released to everyone.

Can’t sign in so what’s the point for Apple users?
I like Apple Maps the most of all, but I do wish I could redirect the route based upon my travel preference or route preference as I can in Google Maps.
No support for Firefox!
I completely agree, robertD. If Apple is going to be so selective of supportable browsers, they might just as well stay siloed.
