How to Input Location with GPS Coordinates on iPhone Maps

How to Enter GPS Coordinates on iPhone with Apple Maps to Find a Location

Have the GPS coordinates for the location you’d like to input handy, then on iPhone:

1. Open the Maps application on iPhone



2. Tap into the Search bar of the Maps app



3. Enter the GPS coordinates you want to locate, then tap the “Search” button



4. The GPS location will be found and shown on screen in maps

3. Google Maps will render the GPS location on the map

If you are having any difficulty, check the way your coordinates are inputted into the Maps app and searched. You want to be sure there is a space between the latitude and longitude numbers, or the decimal degrees, or the DMS degrees, minutes, and seconds numerical delineators. Can you convert GPS coordinates from DD, DMS, latitude longitude formats on iPhone?

Simply search for the GPS coordinates that you do have, and at the very bottom of the Google Maps app you will see the GPS coordinates displayed in DMS degrees, minutes, seconds format:
