MacBook desk

We’ve inadvertently skipped a few weeks posting Mac setups, but we’re back again with another reader submitted desk. Stefan sent in this shot of his wonderfully simple Mac setup, the gear includes the aluminum MacBook unibody model (released before Apple turned it into the MacBook Pro 13″), as well as the following:

• iPhone 3Gs
• Magic Mouse
• Bamboo Wacom
• G-Drive mini

For those interested, the wallpaper can be downloaded here from Stefans site.

    Love the set up,

sometimes I think that the Mac Setups are simply ‘look what macs I can afford’! but not this one sleek and elegant!!

  3. Flashtopia says:

Sorry to bother… but do you know where I can find the lamp or what is the brand?

    Thanks in advance.

    • Stefan says:

      Hey Flashtopia!

I’ve got the lamp from IKEA Denmark, but I think you should be able to find it in any other IKEA shop around the world. I don’t remember the exact name, but they don’t have many lamps there from that type :). Good luck mate.

What a nice and clean no-nonsense setup that scores pretty high on almost all Dieter Rams’ ten principles for good design, which, as we all know, are:
    Good design is innovative
Good design makes a product useful
    Good design is aesthetic
Good design makes a product understandable
    Good design is unobtrusive
    Good design is honest
    Good design is long-lasting
Good design is thorough, down to the last detail
    Good design is environmentally-friendly
Good design is as little design as possible

… but where is the Wacom pen hiding? :-)
