iOS 4.2.1 GM Download Available

Update: iOS 4.2 download is now available to all. You can also use iOS 4.2.1 direct download links and avoid the iTunes update process.
iOS 4.2 hasn’t even been released to the public yet, but now iOS 4.2.1 GM is available for developers to download. The latest iOS 4.2.1 build is 8C148 and has versions for all supported hardware including iPhone 4, iPad, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, and the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations of iPod touch.
The public release date for iOS 4.2 was November 22, and the 4.2 update came in the form of iOS 4.2.1 which resolved some minor problems with the 4.2 GM build.
Everyone can now download iOS 4.2.1 through iTunes or by using these iOS 4.2.1 direct download links.
how do i download iOS 5. from version 4.2.1? i really need some help…would be greatly appreciated
So, what do I do with both firmwares? First I restore my iPod touch 4G using 4.1 and then restore again using 4.2.1? how does this work?
My iPod Touch 4G is stuck on the pineapple logo now when I try to restore 4.3.3, which is the latest FW.

4.2.1 GM works perfectly! And all my data including in-app purchases have been restored successfuly from 3.2.1 :-)

If you don’t know, you should just wait for the release from Apple. This is intended for developers for a reason.
The Link for the iPod touch 4G is not working good you can click on it but then the say the download is not avalibale you know anything to solve this problem?
works perfect ive been using it for week or so can even print from my ipad
that is the old build this is not the same as 4.2.1 GM, use links below instead they are newest
The main fix is the iPad wifi problem that was in 4.2 GM. I don’t see any other difference, if you put 4.2 GM on an iPhone or iPod you are likely fine to stay put.
FFS can’t we just get iOS 4 on the iPad already??? I’m ready to sign up to be a developer just so I can get multitasking!
