6 Beautiful Bokeh City Light Wallpapers
Bokeh is a photography effect that uses intentional blurring of pictures for a pleasant abstract appearance. The resulting unfocused images often wind up making fantastic wallpapers for your desktop and device backgrounds, and that’s what we’re focusing on here with six gorgeously abstract bokeh images of various city lights and elements.
(By the way, if you want to shoot your own bokeh images, you don’t need fancy DSL cameras or equipment. You can actually get the bokeh effect with the iPhone camera by intentionally shooting out of focus with just about any subject, it just takes a little bit of practice to get right)
Each of these wallpapers are hosted on a third party site called ForWallpaper, click any thumbnail to head over there and be able to choose the resolution size appropriate for your screen. While most of these have ratios sized best for the desktop, the higher resolution versions work fine on the iPad, and just about any of them work great on the iPhone as is, though you may need to deal with the iOS 7 stretched wallpaper thing separately for iOS devices if that has been bothering you. Enjoy!
Not into the bokeh thing for your background image? Check out our other wallpaper roundup posts and you’re sure to find something that suits your tastes, no matter your device.
Sites been down for Maintenance (one hour at the most) for three hours. I think it got slammed! ;)
Thanks for the heads up. Will check them out when I can.
It looks like they’re back up now, enjoy the wallpapers!
Great ones…… everybody should have a look on them….
