Beta 3 iOS 13.3.1 & iPadOS 13.3.1 Released for Testing
Apple has released the third beta versions of iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1 for users in the beta testing programs for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Separately, Apple also released new betas for Apple Watch and Apple TV as watchOS 6.1.2 beta 3 and tvOS 13.3 beta 3.
Currently there is no new accompanying MacOS Catalina beta available yet.
There are no major new features expected in iOS 13.3.1 or iPadOS 13.3.1, and the small point release updates are likely to be centered on bug fixes and other minor enhancements to the operating systems. Current betas of iOS 13.3.1 include a new privacy toggle to disable the U1 Ultra Wideband networking chip, which apparently disables location capabilities for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and the Ultra Wideband chip. Presumably that settings addition will make it to the final versions, though it’s possible anything could change by release time.
Users who are actively enrolled in the iOS and iPadOS beta testing programs can find the latest versions available now from Settings > General > Software Update.
For those who are beta testing watchOS and tvOS, you can also find those new beta updates available in their respective Settings apps as well.
Apple usually goes through a variety of beta releases before issuing a final version to the general public, suggesting that a final public release of iOS 13.3.1 and iPadOS 13.3.1 may be a few weeks away.
Another great article, i BETA get my iPad repaired for this update!
LOL, expobill coming in with the beta jokes… good to have a sense of humor I see most people are edgy about stuff and the comments section can be a rant about why iOS is buggy or ipadOS has weird multitasking or whatever. Yea we all have those complaints but let’s be lighthearted sometimes!
